The Skilly Team
Skilly is delighted to announce a multi-year partnership with Tipperary ETB - Nenagh College, enriching the Social, Personal, and Health Education (SPHE) experience for their students. The programme begins in First Year and scales across the full Junior Cycle over the years ahead — a phased, whole-school commitment to student wellbeing and the development of essential life skills.
The roll-out starts with First Year, embedding Skilly's digital platform into the SPHE curriculum from the very first weeks of secondary school. As each cohort progresses, the programme grows with them — extending year on year until it spans the complete Junior Cycle, so a student who begins with Skilly in First Year keeps building the same reflective habits right through to Third Year.
Across each year, the platform provides structured lesson plans, self-assessment tools, and real-time progress tracking, aligned with the six wellbeing indicators of the Junior Cycle curriculum: Active, Responsible, Connected, Resilient, Respected, and Aware.
Skilly's platform offers:
Structured Lesson Plans: Tailored to meet curriculum requirements at each stage of the Junior Cycle and support diverse learning needs.
Self-Assessment Tools: Designed to empower students, enabling them to reflect on their personal growth and wellbeing — and to see that development compound year on year.
Progress Tracking: Enabling educators to monitor student engagement and development across multiple years, so growth is visible over the whole of Junior Cycle rather than a single term.
This multi-year approach reflects Nenagh College's commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, using technology to embed wellbeing as a consistent thread through a student's Junior Cycle journey rather than a one-off intervention.
Together, we're unwavering in our commitment to nurturing the holistic development of students and preparing them for a prosperous future, providing reassurance to educators, parents, and stakeholders.
