Wellbeing & soft skills for further & higher education

Skilly Campus extends our reflective approach to colleges, training centres, language schools and Youthreach. Students build soft skills and wellbeing through honest reflection, with learning outcomes you can measure, track and give formative feedback on. Already piloted on Irish campuses.

Built for the next step

One approach, across further & higher education

🎓

Colleges & universities

Universities, technological universities and institutes: placement reflection, module-embedded soft skills and student wellbeing.

🛠️

Further education & training

PLC colleges and ETB training centres: reflective practice that evidences learning outcomes on apprenticeships and courses.

🗣️

Language schools

ELT and foreign-language schools: a simple, structured way for students to reflect on progress, confidence and communication.

🌱

Youthreach & community

Youthreach centres and youth/community education: wellbeing and soft-skill development for learners who thrive on being heard.

The student journey

From reflection to evidence, in four steps

The same loop, whether it’s a work placement, a career module or personal development: simple for students, light for staff.

1

Students reflect

On a placement, a module or their own development, students write honest reflections in their own words: a few minutes, not a form.

2

Skilly gives formative feedback

Each reflection gets warm, specific feedback in seconds, focused on how to grow, not just a mark. Tutors keep the final say.

3

Outcomes are measured

Reflections map to learning outcomes and soft-skill competencies on a clear rubric, so progress is visible, not just felt.

4

Progress is tracked

Tutors and student-services teams see growth over time, with the evidence ready for reviews, placements and reporting.

Work-placement reflection

Dundalk Institute of Technology

We worked with DkIT to help students self-reflect on their work placements, so the learning outcomes could be measured and tracked, and students received formative feedback throughout the placement, not just a grade at the end.

Career soft skills, embedded as modules

University College Dublin

At UCD we built a programme helping students self-reflect on their career soft skills (communication, teamwork, initiative), embedded directly into modules so the development sat inside the course, not alongside it.

For student services, placement & quality teams

Wellbeing and soft skills you can evidence

Student wellbeing & belonging

A private, structured space to reflect, and a way to notice the students who may need support.

Soft skills & employability

Communication, resilience, teamwork and initiative, made visible and developed deliberately.

Measurable learning outcomes

Reflection mapped to outcomes and competencies on a rubric: evidence, not anecdote.

Formative feedback at scale

Every student gets specific, timely feedback without adding hours of marking for staff.

Embeds into your modules

Sits inside existing modules and placements, with no separate system for students to learn.

Engagement & retention evidence

Reflection data that supports access, retention and quality-review reporting.
